Complete your profile

What goes into your profile, what's required, what's optional, and why it matters.

After you sign up, Bonito Hub asks you to complete your profile. Some of this is required to create an account; most of it is optional but unlocks more of the platform.

What's required

These are collected when you create your account and confirm the basics:

  • First and last name

  • Email address (your sign-in email)

  • Birthday, used only to confirm you're 16 or older. We don't share or display it.

You can't use Bonito Hub without these.

What's optional but recommended

Adding these makes helps us improve our services and unlocks features that depend on a complete profile — such as creating or claiming an organization, and joining the Community when it opens:

  • A professional headline — a one-liner about who you are. For example: "Head Coach at Stockholm Stars" or "Founder, Goals for Girls".

  • Your workplace or organization.

  • A profile picture.

  • Your location, at the level of a country, state, or city. We don't accept street addresses or anything more precise than a city.

  • Gender (optional). If you fill in the gender field, we treat it as special category personal data under GDPR Article 9 and process it based on your explicit consent. You can clear the field at any time, which deletes the value. We never display it publicly.

  • Social and professional links — your LinkedIn, personal website, and similar.

  • Football profile — your role, the kinds of programs you work on, and similar context.

  • Communication preferences — for example, whether you're open to volunteering or to hearing about job opportunities.

Profiles are private

We don’t have any public profiles right now. This might change in the future, and if so, you will be asked if you want to set your profile to public.
